Mogers goes international

« Back to news

These days more and more of our clients are working abroad, either permanently or on long-term contracts. Many are choosing to retire to a home in the sun. Responding to their needs Mogers are excited to announce our new service dedicated to expats.

This new service will provide expats with support, legal advice and representation, regardless of their location and with the same commitment to service and quality that Mogers is renowned for.

Primarily focusing on representing clients going through a relationship breakdown, the family department at Mogers will provide expert advice and support, specifically tailored to the needs of UK citizens going through divorce or partnership dissolution based overseas.

Head of Expat Services, Mark Sage said:

"Going through a relationship breakdown can be distressing enough without the isolation that living in a foreign country brings. We are thrilled to be launching this service for UK expat clients. Mogers have successfully worked in this specialist field for enough years to really understand the common-sense approach that our expat clients need. By combining excellence in family law with a practice across the legal disciplines, we are able to provide a broad specialism that really considers all the angles."

Additionally Mogers provides its specialist understanding and expertise across a number of legal disciplines, not only family law but wills, trust and tax planning, conveyancing, commercial property, employment and commercial law.
The full service is available now worldwide with an official overseas launch planned for November in Hong Kong where Mogers will host a drinks reception at the Embassy.
